ACM SIGSAM is the leading international society for Symbolic and Algebraic Computation.  Our mandate is to foster, sponsor, enable and promote research and computer algebra and symbolic computation in academia, education and industry.

Computer Algebra News

  • Bruno Buchberger wins the ACM Paris Kanellakis Theory and Practice Award.  This is one of the grand prizes of the ACM and honors specific theoretical accomplishments that have had a significant and demonstrable effect on the practice of computing. The announcement can be found here.
